Technical Purchaser

Job Brief:

Do you have experience in technical procurement with a background in pipeline industrial services, having knowledge of pipes, valves, and related spares? , then you are the one we are looking for .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and procure technical materials, tools, spare parts, and equipment required for operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate pricing, and ensure compliance with quality and delivery requirements.
  • Utilize ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion, or other relevant platforms to manage procurement processes efficiently.
  • Analyze costs, compare quotes, and recommend cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure purchased items meet required technical specifications.
  • Review contracts, purchase agreements, and supplier terms to ensure alignment with company policies and industry standards.
  • Monitor stock levels, anticipate procurement needs, and work with warehouse teams to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Stay updated on market trends, supplier innovations, and emerging technologies to enhance purchasing efficiency.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to procurement, such as delays, defects, or non-compliance with specifications.
  • Prepare procurement reports and track key purchasing metrics for management review.

Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical purchasing, procurement, or similar roles.
  • Familiarity with mechanical valves, tubes, pipes, pipeline related products, blasting equipment, robotic automation equipment etc., would be highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion, or similar ERP systems.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management abilities.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, pricing structures, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for supplier visits, vendor assessments, or business meetings.

Location: Saudi Arabia, Abqaiq

Type of Employment: Permanent / Full time

Salary: SAR 8000 – 10000/ Month
