Job Brief:
Are you motivated counter sales staff and having experience in handling customers of maritime industry? If yes then you are the one we are looking for.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering great customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers at the sales counter by answering inquiries, providing items/ products information, and guiding the customers to make the best purchasing decisions.
- Process sales transactions, handle cash or card payments, and ensure accurate billing.
- Manage the reorder level to keep the items at optimum level.
- Provide basic after-sales support and guide customers with any items-related concerns.
- Handle basic customer complaints and escalate any complex issues to the manager.
Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a sales or counter staff role from the maritime industry.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to effectively assist and engage with clients.
- Fluency in English is required. Communication in Hindi or Malayalam would be added advantage.
- Basic understanding of sales processes and experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
