Sales Engineer

Job Brief:

Are you experienced in sales within marine industry, with a passion for establishing and maintaining customer relationships and fluent in Arabic? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy developing technical solutions to meet customer needs? If so, you are the one we are looking for!

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential customers, planning and organizing sales call schedules, preparing cost estimates, and providing technical support to customers. You will work closely with engineers, sales teams, and other professional and technical personnel to deliver excellent service and develop strong customer relationships.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Identify potential customers and plan sales call schedules.
• Prepare cost estimates by studying blueprints and customer documents.
• Consult with engineers and sales teams to ensure technical accuracy.
• Deliver technical presentations to existing and prospective customers.
• Act as a contact between the company and its markets.
• Prepare and submit timely quotations.
• Gather client requirements, support R&D, and assist in product development.
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships and monitor project progress.

Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Petrochemical or Mechatronics).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oil and Gas or Marine or Onboard or Shipyards.
• Minimum 3 years in Sales / Business Development in Qatar
• UPDA license is an added advantage.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
• Ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
• Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.

Job Location: Qatar

Type of Employment: Permanent / Full time

Salary: QAR 8,000 to QAR 12,000 + Sales commissions
