Sales Assistant

Job Brief:

Are you experienced in sales coordination, with a passion for supporting a dynamic sales team? with a passion for driving impactful strategies in the Oil and Gas, Marine, Shipyard, and Yachting industries? The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating with the sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information. You will ensure the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material and support the sales team to achieve the set monthly targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing sales quotes and proposals
• Assisting the team in preparing tender packages
• Monitoring, developing, and updating the weekly and monthly registers
• Creating and maintaining a database of quote registers, current and potential customers
• Contacting potential and existing customers on the phone, by email, and in person
• Building and maintaining a CRM database
• Collecting and analyzing information and preparing data and sales reports
• Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
• Supporting other sales teams in preparing quotations
• Maintaining the sales process according to the company’s IMS procedures
• Answering potential customers’ questions and sending additional information via email
• Coordinating sales efforts with team members and other departments

Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Marine)
• Proven working experience with a minimum of 2 years in Sales
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Good negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Track record of over-achieving sales quotations
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills

Job Location: Qatar

Type of Employment: Permanent / Full time

Salary: QAR 4,000 to QAR 6,000 + Sales commissions
