Procurement Coordinator

Job Brief:

Are you an experienced Procurement Coordinator with over 3 years of experience in coordinating in procurement either with ship chandlers or with marine industry? If yes then you are the one we are looking for.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of Maritime /Marine/ Oilfield supplies and have a passion for driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with Maritime projects/ Construction projects/ Sales teams, and B2B clients for the procurement of mechanical, electrical, safety products, sanitary materials, tools, hardware etc.
• Collaborate with purchase teams of key clients and with drivers/ delivery teams to ensure the materials/ products are delivered on time.
• Maintain strong relationships with major customers, including Oil & Gas companies, Marine industry players, Vessel Owners, MEP & Civil Contractors, and Facility Management sectors.
• Follow up on pickups and deliveries by coordinating with drivers/ logistics teams
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, ensuring regular and transparent reporting to management.
• Keep confidential records of suppliers, manufacturers, and clients to ensure data integrity.

Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as procurement coordinator in ship chandlers or marine or any other similar industry.
• Strong understanding of Marine/Oilfield (Onshore & Offshore) supplies, with a background in working with Ship Chandlers, trading companies, and direct vessel supplies.
• Proficiency in maintaining supplier relationships and managing procurement logistics efficiently.
• Extensive knowledge of UAE suppliers of Maritime/ Oil & Gas/ Building materials.
• Strong relationships with local manufacturers and suppliers in the UAE and international markets.

Job Location: DMC, Dubai

Type of Employment: Permanent / Full time

Salary: AED 6000/ Month
