Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in pipeline coating through robotic systems for Aramco projects.

This role involves working with automated and robotic coating systems, ensuring efficient operations, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. You shall be able to work in offshore as well as onshore projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, operate, and optimize robotic and automated coating systems used in pipeline coating applications.
• Ensure pipeline coating processes meet Aramco standards and project specifications.
• Perform equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of robotic coating systems.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance coating efficiency and quality.
• Conduct technical evaluations of coating materials, application techniques, and surface preparation methods.
• Work closely with QC Inspectors, production teams, and project managers to ensure project success.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings, technical reports, and project documentation.
• Monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations related to coating operations.
• Assist in testing and commissioning of new coating technologies and robotic systems.
• Provide technical guidance and training to technicians and operators working with robotic systems.

Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering .
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the pipeline coating industry.
• Expertise in robotic coating technology used for FBE, 3LPE, 3LPP, and liquid coatings.
• Familiarity with Aramco project requirements, API, NACE, and SSPC standards preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot robotic and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical documents.
• Hands-on experience with PLC-controlled equipment and robotic programming (preferred).
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel and work in field environments, coating plants, or project sites.

Salary:  Up to SAR 10K/ Month
