Mechanic (Dewatering Pumps)

Job Brief:

As a Mechanic specializing in dewatering pumps, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our pump systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of dewatering pumps, including centrifugal, submersible, and diaphragm pumps.
• Diagnose mechanical failures and provide effective repair solutions.
• Dismantle, inspect, and reassemble pump components such as impellers, seals, and bearings.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure the pumps meet operational standards and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental guidelines.

Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:

• Diploma/Certificate in related field.
• Min 4 years of experience working with dewatering pumps in industrial or construction settings.
• Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical issues and conducting repairs.
• Knowledge of tools, equipment, and safety practices related to pump maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
