Senior Accountant

Job in brief:

We are looking for Senior Accountant who speaks Malay. If you are highly experienced in Accounting Principles, Accounts finalization and Bookkeeping along with a strong attention to detail, then you are the one we are looking for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure their accuracy.
• Maintain and reconcile bank accounts, ensuring all transactions are accounted for.
• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and KSA regulations.
• Prepare and present regular financial performance reports and forecasts to senior management.
• Perform and supervise bookkeeping tasks, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely payment processing and collections as per the Statement of Accounts (SOA).
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and business documentation.
• Mentor Junior Accounting Officers, review their work for accuracy and compliance, and implement training programs to enhance their skills.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all accounting tasks and ensure their consistent application.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and company procedures.
• Associate with audits by preparing schedules and providing necessary documentation.
• Taking care of tax filings by preparing necessary documentation and supporting schedules.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the manager.

Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 5 years experience as a Senior Accountant.
• Must speak English and Malay.
• Willing to relocate to Saudi, if you are not currently in Saudi.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organization skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment

Job Location: Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia

Type of Employment: Permanent / Full time

Salary: Up to SAR 10,000 /month
