Logistics Specialist

Job Brief:

Are you an experienced document controller with a strong background in import/export processes and customs clearance / documentation? Then you are the one we are looking for!

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in handling customs clearance and documentation, particularly in the heavy equipment industry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and organize all documentation related to import/export of heavy equipment.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of customs clearance documents.
• Collaborate with customs authorities, shipping agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth customs clearance.
• Manage document archiving, retrieval, and compliance in accordance with legal regulations.
• Work closely with logistics and procurement teams to ensure efficient shipping and delivery.
• Monitor updates in customs regulations and update the documents accordingly.
• Provide general administrative support as and when needed.

Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:

• Any Bachelor’s degree.
• Min 7 years of experience in document control with a specific focus on import/export of heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of customs clearance processes and documentation in Dubai.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Experience with document management systems.

Salary: AED 6000 – 8000
